Blazblue Calamity Trigger

Blazblue Calamity Trigger

is a brand new 2D fighting franchise from Arc System Works, the respected Japanese fighting game developer behind the Guilty Gear series.

It was released in Japan in November 2008 on the Taito Type X2 [the same platform as Street Fighter, King of Fighters and Battle Fantasia] and was a huge success in the arcades.

The home console version reached #2 in the US PS3 and 360 charts, stayed in the top 10 for 7 weeks and has sold over 350,000 units. In Japan the title entered the charts in the top 5 on both formats and has sold over 200,000 copies.

The UK release is a ‘Gold Edition’ and includes all the available DLC in the box –

All 12 characters have an unlockable ‘Unlimited’ mode with Astral Drive [instant kill] moves and unique alternate costumes based on the European flags.

Blazblue is one of only a handful of titles that supports Remote Play on the PSP [PS3 version only]
