Buying games at Boomerang
ANSWERS
  1. Can I buy games from Boomerang?
Yes, there are two ways you can buy games from Boomerang. The first is buying ex-rental games (Buy It). These will be games that have been rented out, reconditioned and will be sold in "As New" condition, with a brand new box and manual etc. These will usually be at significant discounts on their original retail price. The second is buying games that you are renting (Keep It). Provided we have sufficient stock, you will have the option to "Keep" most of the games you rent with us, from release, at very competitive prices. Once you have paid for it, you keep the disc you were renting and we then send you a pristine box and manual. We then automatically despatch your next rental.

  9. How much will I pay for a "Keep It" Game?
Our aim is that most games are available to keep from release, subject to stock availability. If a game has just been released, then it will be priced very competitively, near to the cost of a brand new copy of that game, after all, you may be the first person to play that copy! As a game gets older, the price will reduce. Don't forget that all the games you buy from us, no matter how new or old, have our 30 No Quibble guarantee, so you can be sure of the highest quality product.

  10. Why is a game available to Keep but not to Buy?
In order to manage our stocks, a title only becomes available to buy once it is 3 months old. If a title is showing as available to Keep but not to Buy and its over 3 months old, the most likely reason will be that we dont have any copies in stock.

  14. Why can't I keep the game I am renting?
We want to get the balance right between enabling customers to keep the game they are renting as much as possible and ensuring we have sufficient rental stock left. This means that we won't always be able to make a game available to keep. However, if the game you are renting isn't showing as available to keep, it's worth checking over a few days before sending it back as, the situation may change.
