| Medal of Honor Heroes has been confirmed for PSP with the promise of 32-player WiFi online deathmatches. And what's more, it'll be bringing back favourite characters from the series' past to further their stories. You can see it in action now by simply clicking the movies tab above. Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson – star of both the original Medal of Honor and our series favourite, Medal of Honor Frontline – is making a comeback for an excursion into Holland as part of Operation Market Garden. Joining him with their own new stories will be Sergeant John Baker, from MOH: Allied Assault Breakthrough and Lieutenant William Holt from European Assault. WiFi ad-hoc mode will allow up to eight players to compete simultaneously and there are six multiplayer game modes, placing the emphasis firmly on PSP's impromptu multiplayer capabilities. As ever, there should be plenty of historical accuracy, thanks to consultation with experts on WWII, but we just hope the game can recapture its PSone and early PS2 glory years. Heroes is pencilled in for a "winter 2006" release but we'll bring you plenty more on this promising game before then. |
