Set in a vast, labyrinthine pool complex, you wander through haunting liminal spaces containing swimming pools, silence, and nothing else. Rather than traditional horror, POOLS plays on fears of getting lost, the dark and tight spaces. There are no monsters or antagonists — tension is drawn from the atmosphere and aesthetics of the environment itself. The game has no user interface, no dialogue and no background music, using environmental sounds to create immersion. Features six unique chapters across its unsettling journey.
