Super Meat Boy 3D is a 3D platformer in which players control Meat Boy, who must save his girlfriend Bandage Girl from the evil scientist Dr. Fetus. The game adapts the precision platforming of Super Meat Boy into a 3D environment. Players attempt to reach the end of each level while avoiding enemies, circular saw blades, industrial shredders and various other obstacles. Any contact with dangerous obstacles kills Meat Boy instantly, respawning the player at the beginning of the level. Levels grow increasingly punishing, pushing reflexes to the limit with varied environments and boss fights.
