I never completed the first game in this series as I did not have my 360 very long, so has a veritable newcomer to this franchise I thought it may be a little daunting getting into it. I need not have worried even when old characters come into it there is enough options in conversations to get the gist of what happened before. The game itself is a blast to play and from the very start gives you plenty of action to keep you busy. And there is plenty to do and places to wander for those looking for something more deep. On a whole I would recommend this game as a must play and to be honest a must buy, high quality all the way.
I have the highest praise for this game, just get it, get it now. One warning. You cannot use the one-time code, meaning you can't do the prequel comic (to make important decisions from non-ps3 ME1) or unlock the bonus Zaeed mission. Don't worry though, I'm nowhere near done and 20 hours in.
this is one of the best ps3 games out this year, the graphics are top notch, the story line drags u in,and i like how you can choose what to say to people in mass effect And now i cant wait for mass effect 3!!!!

this is one of the best games i have played this year been playing over 20 hours and the games still not finished great game play and grapics this is a game everyone should play.
