The best music game I have ever played. It all depends on what bands you like but luckily, I like most of the bands on the game. Career mode is fun, customisation is cool. Great game!
What can a say, this game is almost perfect. I never played the earlier games as LEGO Rock Band was my first, I had previously had Guitar Hero 3 and World Tour. In comparison to those though this game has very little loading, very well laid out interface, some good songs. LEGO had good songs but an annoying interface that loaded too much. World Tour had very few good songs. Rock Band 3 is just so refreshing that everything is so accessible, so many goals (more or less things you have to do to earn achievements), so much play time. The only negative is some goals are buggy and will not unlock during normal gameplay as they are supposed to, you will have to do them again after selecting that specific goal for it to register. But other than that, its just a superb game especially if you get the keyboard.
