The best bit of this game is the exclusive Toy Box mode, where you can play as Woody, Buzz or Jessie in the role of Sheriff in a toyland town. This mode uses all the same characters from the films but gives you complete freedom to play with all of them however you want - from exciting car (or horse and dragon) races to catching ghosts.
One special element of the Toy Box is magic goo that can change the size of any of the characters, which together with all the other collectable objects lets you completely customise the town, and the world of Toy Story, however you want.
Embracing the adored and inspired fun of the Toy Story franchise, Toy Story 3: The Video Game features a story mode that follows the Toy Story 3 film adventures in which Buzz, Woody and friends grapple with their uncertain future as Andy prepares to depart for college. In addition to the Toy Box mode, the console versions put the toys in non-film related environments and situations such as light videogame combat with Buzz Lightyear. The handheld versions bring the Toy Story fun with fans wherever they go.

Great game, graphics and sounds were brilliant. The toy box game was the best part of this game. Only problem I had with the game was the amount of times during the game, it paused to load next section, in some sections it happened very regularly and really let the game down
Movie games don't have a great reputation, neither do kid's games; but Toy Story 3 shows what can be made if the developers get it right. The game obviously isn't without flaws, vehicle control is awkward and the camera has a tendency to put itself in stupid positions so you can't see but these are relatively minor issues with an overall great game. Story Mode is short, and at times may be a bit difficult for the market it is predominantly aimed at so parents or older siblings may need to jump in to help younger children. Woody's Round-Up, the open world section of the game is fantastic, and will keep kids and adults entertained for hours as they try to complete it. All in all, I highly recommend this game.
Really good game for kids, even though I completed it myself.
Main story mode is good, but only touches on the story of the movie and there are only about only about 6 levels to the story which are short, also i would say this is only for adults or teenagers only as the puzzles were in fact quite difficult at times. The toy box mode is the main feature of the game and adds more depth to it. All in all i would give this game...hhmmmmm..about 7 or 8 out of 10 and i'm a toy story fan! I was really excited about getting this game and now im glad i didnt buy it and only rented it, after the main story i have only played it once or twice before it had to go back! Maybe if oneday i see it for only a few pounds then i might buy it and finish the toy box mode!
I ordered this for the kids to play, well I say play they're only 2 and 4 so watch me play basically and thought it would be like every other movie tie in every made into a game. How wrong could I have been. This game is great what ever age you are. It follows roughly the Toy Story 3 plot with you having to play as either Woody, Buzz or Jessie and complete diffent tasks and collect items to progress. The graphics are spot on and the voice acting excellent. My kids were transfixed to the screen as I played like they were watching the films. I really didn't want to send this one back and will be renting it again in future as it was so much fun. Excellent what ever age you are.
