Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan in year 4026, humanity's only hope lies with Emma, an outcast shunned from society for her affliction, and Koo, the blighted dog. 'The blight' has spread throughout the country, transforming all living things into 'malefacts.' Emma sets out on a journey alongside a malefact named Koo toward the Far West to defeat the 'Beast of Reincarnation,' the root cause of the blight. In a world eroded by the blight, the combat experience fuses Emma's real-time action with Koo's command-based strategy.
